These pieces (in Cherry and Beech) bring out a playful, illustrative side of my work.
I made this piece in Lockdown and they always make me smile.
Designed as a group to be fun and free, a symbol of being together and celebration that at the time but also now we desperately need.

All different yet all as equally important.

This is a time when it’s becoming cool to be different.
We are finally starting to learn about one another, education and listening to people’s stories is the only way forward.
This is no longer the time for judgement, prejudice and inequality.
This is time for kindness, consideration and understanding.

As I have talked before, I have such huge optimism that our futures can be bright, we have the technological advances to navigate ourselves out of the mess we are currently in.
The question is, are we capable of change, are we brave enough to imagine a whole new world?

Presently we live in an individualistic society, not a care led one, where the gap between the people who have and have not are ever increasing.
It is fundamentally important that going forward we are finding collective solutions…
After all, happiness is only true when shared.

This is the final sculpture in the trail.
You are welcome just to continue relaxing in the garden.
